Hey guys, I made a yahoo group for Miniature Siberians. NOT Alaskan Klee Kai, but mini sibes. Of course of you want to join and post about your Klee Kai, be my guest I just want more people to join! If you know anything about Mini Sibes please join and introduce yourself!

http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/mini_huskies/

There is the group. If you want to join an AKK group, do a search, there are plenty of AKK groups. I suggest Alaskan Klee Kai Advocates! Thanks!

Wow, nobody ever posts in here. lol

Well I went to UKC Premier... in Kalamazoo, MI. And It was SO MUCH FUN! The drive for 12 hours there and then back was something else though... lol. I got to meet the breed developer Linda Spurlin... the first breeders Eileen Gregory and Chris Shackelford. They are all everything I dreamed of. I love this community!

Sometimes I wonder will the time ever be right? All I can think about is getting a loan and seaching for my puppy. It's hearbreaking, it feels as if my dream will never come true. :( I feel like howling from depression. School isn't well, I got sick and missed too many classes and since instructors don't care, I'm SOL. But at least I have a decent job that I can apply myself more in to make more money. I miss the AKK community, I hardly have time to catch up with it, and I miss those people. Guys, how long did it take you to get you AKK? I have been waiting for the right time over a year... my circumstance is just not good enough. I need some kind words. :( Thanks. Below are some pics from when I went to PA for the AKK reunion. :)

Ok I wont add anymore, because I forgot how to do the cut, and I don't want to bombard your pages!!! That's me, looking ROUGH lol and those are some pups from one of Kenny Comptons females!!! I hope you enjoy them as much as I did. :)

Hello Everyone!

My name is Dee and I'm really interested in adding a Klee Kai to our family.  I've had Siberians in the past, and I've been ready for another one for quite some time now.  The only problem is that my husband isn't too keen on getting another big dog.  See, we love to camp and we take the WHOLE family with us when we go and that currently consists of 3 cats and 2 dogs.  We pretty much travel everywhere with our animals.

About a month ago a friend of mine pointed me to the AKKs. My husband agreed that a dog of that size would indeed be a good compromise.  Since then I've been reading whatever I can find.  What I truly want to know is how hard is it to get one of these dogs?  I've gotten the impression that it is VERY difficult.  I've seen where people have been waiting for as long as 13 years?  Any advice or information anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.  I've already fallen in love with these little guys and I haven't even met one yet!

Oh! I forgot to tell you guys that I went to the Labor Day weekend picnic at Kenny Compton's house in Summerville, PA. It was absolutely worth every penny I spent to go. The shows were so fun, and the people were AWESOME. Not to mention all the dogs! I love them so much. I can't wait until I get my own. I got to meet several AKK breeders and owners. They were so cool. I've practically got a group of friends from all over the world. Anyway, here are some pictures of that weekend. (These aren't my own pictures, I've yet to go get them!)

I know it says 2003 in the link, but once you get there you'll see the 2006 one. All the puppies and dogs were outstanding and I loved all of them. Again, I can't wait to get one of my own. I don't know why I am so passionate about this. I am thinking that God knew what he wanted me to do, help reserve and protect a breed, and make it better with every litter. He put that love for the dogs wayyy deep inside me. I doubt anything could move it. Anyway I can't seem to upload these pictures, but I DO have links. I want you to look at this little cutie. He name is Gipsy.

Aren't they adorable??? Barbara if you ever read this, your dogs are awesome!

My experience that weekend will never be forgotten. And although I haven't met Barbara, I will one day! Even if I have to go down there! Anyway, I gotta go invite some more people to this group. LOL. See you later!

Alas, I have no pictures of adorable Klee Kai to post. Yet, lol! My boyfriend has fallen in love with this breed, so I thought I'd join this community in the hopes of learning all I can! We live in Toronto, and there don't seem to be any breeders up here in Canada, unfortunately.
